first day on the job

I had to arrive early to my new job on the first day to get a parking pass.  Of course, I should've known that the Nashville flood of 2012 would come out of nowhere.  2:30 p.m. = clear skies & 80 degree weather.  3:20 p.m. = random clouds filled with water aiming towards your head, hail slamming into your car, & a temperature drop to 65 degrees.

I've come to realize that God has a sense of humor that I may never understand.

I run from my car to my working place (which is only a couple blocks away) and THIS is what I look like when I walk in.

I might as well have just taken a bath in all of my clothes, because this is due to just a couple minutes in the rain.

But, besides my body being soaking wet, it was a good first day at work.  I watched a training video, learned how to clean the store, and even scooped some ice cream.
